
Guideline on Machines and Installation
The English revision 3.0 of the Guideline of the ESD FORUM e.V. on the ESD Risk Assessment of Machines and Installations (RL 1013) has been completed and can be downloaded right away. The German version will follow shortly.

Course "Introduction to Electrostatic Discharge ESD"
For the fourth time, the German ESD FORUM e.V. will offer the course "Introduction to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)". Focus topics include charging and discharging, as well as mitigation measures in the manufacturing, handling, and transport of ESD-sensitive components. Additional topics include ESD robustness testing of electronic components, ESD risk assessment, and the threat posed by electrical overstress (EOS).
The German language course will be held on May 19/20, 2026, at Technologie Centrum Westbayern in Noerdlingen. On May 19, there is an evening program in the city of Noerdlingen. Further information and a registration form are included in the flyer.

ESD Technician Trainings
The ESD Technician Training is still very popular. The next course in German language is scheduled for April 20-23, 2026 (information and registration) in Noerdlingen. If you are interested in a course in English language, please get in touch with us (contact form).

19th ESD-Forum 2026 (Dresden)
The next ESD-Forum 2026 will be held from October 13 till October 15, 2026 in the NH Collection Dresden Altmarkt. Interested authors are asked to submit at least an extended abstract of their papers by May 11, 2026. An exhibition will be held in parallel to the conference. Interested companies are asked to contact the ESD FORUM e.V. latest by September 14, 2026. Further information is included with the Call for Papers.
