Absolute Maximum Ratings
Absolute Maximum Ratings (AMR) are physical limits for storage, handling and application of electronic components or electrical devices, which are specified and published by the manufacturer of these components and devices.
In order to ensure serviceability of components and devices and prevent them from irreversible damage, the Absolute Maximum Ratings of these components and devices must not be exceeded under the worst probable conditions.
The Absolute Maximum Ratings are defined by the standard IEC60134.
